WPG are proud to sponsor Monty Lit Fest this year which will be held in the beautiful town of Montgomery.

The festival will bring together writers and readers in what promises to be a full-on weekend, with visitors from all over Wales and beyond.

We are delighted to have been asked to print the postcards and programmes for the Monty Lit Fest and very happy to sponsor the event.

These ‘Save the Date’ postcards are printed both sides with welsh on one side and english on the other and are now scattered around the country.

Monty Lit Fest

The Montgomeryshire Literary Festival (or Monty Lit Fest for short) will be held over the weekend of 10-12th June 2022 in Montgomery, Powys.

The festival celebrates writers who live in, write about and are passionate about Wales and the Welsh Borders and the diverse range of subjects and topics that matter locally.

Founded in 2018, the Festival has already developed a reputation for attracting top literary talent.

This year’s festival begins on Friday 10th June at The Dragon Hotel and finishes on Sunday 12th June with a cricket tea at Montgomery Cricket Club
The majority of the programmed events take place in Montgomery Town Hall

WPG sponsor Lloyd Llewellyn-Jones’ Book

The actual event we are sponsoring is Persians: The Age of the Great Kings with Lloyd Llewellyn-Jones at 4:00pm in the Town Hall

Lloyd Llewellyn-Jones is Professor of Ancient History at Cardiff University. Lloyd has also acted as the historical consultant for major Hollywood movies and television documentaries. This new book looks at the Persian Empire, Persians: The Age of the Great Kings and was only just released on 14th April 2022
