From the success of having his first hardback book printed by WPG, 'All About The Banjo Uke', John Croft approached us again about printing a second book.
‘All About The Banjo Uke - A Photographic Companion’, is a perfect follow up.
The new book contains 192 pages filled with photographs and information on a diverse range of ukuleles including vintage and contemporary and about great makers past and present.
This high quality book has been printed with a hardback red cover with book title & author’s name stamped in gold foil on the spine, then covered in a gloss laminated dust jacket. A real collectors item to treasure for years to come.
John is a self-published author and compiled this book from his home in Llanyblodwel, near Oswestry in Shropshire.
He really does let his love and enthusiasm for the ukulele flow throughout the book and has high hopes that this book will be of great interest to lovers of The Banjo Uke, the ukulele, and music in general.
All About The Banjo Uke was printed in 2018 after 7+ years of compiling by John.
The book is full of interesting facts and stories about a multitude of people including a chapter on George Harrison, the ownership of George Formby’s banjo ukes and also information about the great case makers.
In John’s words “It seeks to extend the knowledge and stimulate the interest of the reader”
