In October last year we increased our fast printing turnaround by installing a second eight-colour Komori Lithrone perfecting press, and again, had it fitted with Komori’s UV instant drying technology.
The new litho printing machine installed is an eight-unit Komori Lithrone LS829 H-UV and replaces a five-colour Komori Lithrone.
After a busy year and knowing the high quality that our current Komori 8 colour press already produces, this new investment was a necessity and has already proved its worth in production.
Investing in the latest print technology allows us to offer more printed products with a fast printing turnaround and even more value-added services.
Komori LS-829 P Perfecting Press
The LS-829 P offers some great features including the KHS-AI integrated control system and the fully automatic plate-changing system (APC) that changes the plates quickly, accurately and cuts makeready time in half. All these features combined result in us being able to offer quality print with a fast printing turnaround, something our customers are very pleased to know.
With the addition of Komori’s H-UV technology to the new press, we now have two litho presses, producing high quality print with instant drying. This generates a fast printing turnaround, something our customers are very pleased to know.
Komori’s H-UV instant drying technology
The H-UV process is clean, environmentally friendly and, because the printed sheets come out of the machine dry, they are ready for finishing straight away, which makes the whole printing process far quicker.
Additionally, H-UV makes it possible for us to produce speciality print effects and coating techniques which are popular for our customer’s marketing materials including brochures, leaflets and direct mail campaigns.
